Since 2017, the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Cardiology has proudly partnered with its "international twin chapter" the Hellenic Society of Cardiology.  

The New Jersey Chapter of the ACC was proud to support its international twin chapter, the Hellenic Society of Cardiology, during the 46th Panhellenic Cardiology Congress this year. Held in Athens, this annual meeting continues to highlight distinguished speakers from across Greece and Europe, along with prominent leaders from both the ACC and NJ-ACC over the past several years.

NJ-ACC Immediate Past President Dr. Jeff Lander represented the Chapter in person, presenting “Lp(a): Little Name, Big Risk.” Current Chapter President Dr. Renee Bullock-Palmer contributed virtually with an insightful talk titled “Diagnosing ATTR Cardiac Amyloidosis – Latest Evidence and Updates in 2025.”

We were also delighted to see our 2025 Chapter Poster Competition winner, Dr. Noman Khalid, present his winning work, “Comparative Analysis of Prevalence of Cardiovascular Risk Factors Across New Jersey Counties,” originally featured and awarded at our 2025 Chapter Spring Dinner.
