About the Keynote Speaker
Roxana Mehran, MD, FACC , President of the American College of Cardiology, is an endowed professor of cardiovascular clinical research and outcomes and a professor of medicine (cardiology) and population health science and policy at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Mehran has served as principal investigator for numerous global studies, developed risk scores for bleeding and acute kidney injury, participated in development of clinical guidelines and authored more than 2,000 peer-reviewed articles. She is also leading the Lancet Commission on Women's Cardiovascular Diseases.
